Gene Editing Became More Easier And Powerful

It's never like that in past

An easier and powerful way of Gene editing has discovered by scientists. This method will help us in eradicating the genetics diseases at a chemical level.
Chemical Biologist David Liu said that we have developed a new base pair editor. A molecular Machine that is programmable and irreversible. This machine will clean manner and correct mutations in the genome of living cells.
Around 50% of our diseases associated with “Point Mutations”. It comes down to mix-ups in the nucleobase pairs.
These pairs are present between the chemical. Chemicals like adenine, cytosine, guanine and thymine, which makes up our DNA.
Now, Scientists can alter genome structure with a technique called CRISPR-Cas9.
Through this technique, scientists can cut, copy and paste all the molecular arrangements.
A new system Adenine Base Editor(ABE) developed by Liu’s team, changes this. It makes editing much neater and easier.
